The DJI Phantom 4 Advanced is an upgraded version of the Phantom 4 model. The drone has been equipped with a redesigned, completely new camera with a 1 “CMOS sensor, with a 20 megapixel lens that can record video in 4K quality at 60 frames per second. The camera also has a Burst mode. A mode that allows you to take a series of photos and then select the best one. The camera is equipped with a mechanically adjustable shutter speed, which completely eliminates the problem of blurry photos taken during high-speed flights. Advanced sensors and image processors guarantee an unparalleled amount of detail during recording.
Smart and durable
The construction of the new Phantom is made of titanium and magnesium alloys, which makes it more stable, and at the same time its weight is similar to the regular version. The Phantom 4 Advanced is equipped with the innovative FlightAutonomy system that intelligently avoids obstacles. The drone has 5 vision sensors for two-way obstacle detection and avoidance (front and bottom), and also uses satellite positioning (GPS and GLONASS).
Improved controller
The improved controller in combination with the HD Lightbridge image transmission system guarantee the transmission of extremely clear images at the maximum range. The transmitter works at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. When our Phantom Advanced is turned on, the intelligent Time Division Multiplexing system analyzes all available signal levels and automatically selects the transmission frequency with the lowest level of interference. This ensures HD transmission without interference even on flights up to 3.5 kilometers.
Drawing mode
Draw is a completely new, innovative technology that allows you to take flight control to the next level. Simply draw a route on the screen and the Phantom 4 Advanced will follow that direction while remaining completely stable. This allows us to focus directly on the camera control, creating more complex shots. There are two modes to choose from: Forward – the drone moves at a constant speed, with the apparatus facing the direction of flight. Free – The drone moves along the route set for it. In this mode, the apparatus can be turned in any direction during the flight of the drone.
ActiveTrack mode
In this mode, the Phantom 4 Advanced automatically recognizes objects, follows them, and frames them while they are moving. This makes creating complex shots much easier. While following fast-moving objects is often quite a challenge, the advanced image recognition algorithms used in the Phantom allow you to capture and track an object, keeping it in the frame at all times. The new algorithm can recognize a wide variety of objects, ranging from people to cars and animals.
The operator can choose from three modes:
Trace – Trace an object in front or behind, automatically avoiding obstacles
Profile – Fly around your subject at different angles to get multiple profile shots
Spotlight – Fly the drone freely in any direction and the subject will be kept in the frame all the time
TapFly mode
Fly in any direction visible on the screen with one click. Touch anywhere on the screen to smoothly adjust the direction of flight while automatically avoiding obstacles. To change direction, touch again or use the steering stick. The new AR function shows the flight direction in real time.
There are two TapFly modes to choose from:
TapFly Forward – Tap to fly in the direction of your choice
TapFly Free – Lock the Phantom’s flight direction without blocking the camera, allowing it to rotate in any direction as it flies. *
* Automatic obstacle avoidance is disabled in this mode
Return home mode
In an enhanced version of Return to Home mode, the Phantom 4 Advanced can automatically select the most optimal route home, taking into account various factors such as terrain. The phantom records its route history during flight, which allows it to return along the same route, avoiding all obstacles in the absence of a signal from the controller. The drone can record the landing moment and compare it with the previous one so as to adjust the landing as precisely as possible. The Phantom 4 Advanced can also analyze the suitability of a landing site. When there are any obstacles, such as water on the ground, the drone alerts you and hovers at a safe distance, waiting for movement and a safe landing.
